An Oregon State University Professor and historian's work on a book sheds light on the current war in Ukraine. Dr. Christopher McKnight Nichols joined other historians and scholars, writing and editing a book about grand strategy, which countries use to further their interests. We talked about how the ideas in the book, "Rethinking American Grand Strategy" relate to Russia's struggles in the conflict, and also the international struggle and strife amid pandemic response.
