Stone soup is an ancient story... a solution for homelessness... and a spot for you to grab lunch in Portland, OR.
Stone Soup just graduated its first crew.... the participants are folks in tough times, at risk of homelessness. But through this training program, they earn a career in the restaurant industry and you get to eat at a groovy lunch counter.
Ronit Gerard is the co-founder and a Foreign Service Officer for USAID. She says she and her husband are using their global skills to help create a solution here at home.
